Hi everyone! I'm Mark Sparvell and I work for Principals Australia leading the PALNET environment. I have recently stepped out of my Principalship of www.kadinaps.sa.edu.au. In 2008 I was the South Australian Innovative Teacher of the Year for Microsoft, In 2009, the Australian winner and representative to travel to Brazil to compete internationally. In 2009 I won the Worldwide Innovative Educator award in Collaboration. In 2011  was pleased to win a National NeiTA Award for Leadership and travelled to Alabama.
For the last few years I have been an Australian, Asia-Pacific and Global judge for Microsofts Innovative Teacher Awards.

2008 Innovative Teacher State Award
In 2008 I received a Microsoft Innovative Teaching Award for South Australia and as a result represented SA at the Asia Pacific Regional Forum.
2009 Innovative Teacher National Award
In 2009 I was selected across the state, territory, sectors and levels-of-schooling to represent Australia at the Worldwide Innovative Education Conference in Brazil.
2009 Innovative Educator International Award
In late 2009 I was selected from an international field for a Worldwide Award in the field of Collaboration.
2010 Inspirational Leadership Award
In 2010 I was nominated by the parent community for an Inspirational Leadership award through NeiTA and ASG Foundation.
2011 Inspirational Leadership National Award
In 2011 I received a National award for Inspirational and Innovative Leadership.
2011 Australias Representative to USA
In 2011 I was selected by a panel to represent Australian educators and leaders at an International Gathering in Alabama USA

Hi Mark. I'm flattered that you are interested in Futures Studies. As I said I am a bit out of the loop in recent years but consider it an exciting and undervalued field.
